This is the long out-of-print LP release from VARESE SARABANDE RECORDS of Morton Steven's score for the 1984 sci-fi comedy SLAPSTICK OF ANOTHER KIND, written and directed by Steven Paul and based on a novel by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. and starring Jerry Lewis, Madeline Kahn, Jim Backus, and in his final film appearance, Marty Feldman.

A wealthy couple become the parents of a set of twins who are not only gigantic, but incredibly ugly. In actuality, the kids are super-intelligent aliens from another planet, sent to Earth to help solve its numerous problems. There's just one hitch: the twins' advanced mental capabilities only work when they're TOGETHER. So the siblings had better do their best not to separate--especially when they find themselves pursued by U.S. agents... An all-star cast romp through this sci-fi comedy, including the voice of Orson Welles!

This LP release not only contains selections from Morton Steven's score, but also a suite from the film's first score written by Michel Legrand that was not used for the North American release of the film.
