is the 1995 new digitial recording performed by the Sinfonia of
London
conducted by Bruce Broughton (Young Sherlock Holmes) of Bernard
Herrmann's
classic film score for the 1963 fantasy film Jason and the Argonauts
Directed by Don Chaffey (One Million Years B.C.) and starring
Todd Armstrong (Hawaii Five-O), Honor Blackman (The Avengers &
Goldfinger) and Patrick Troughton (Dr. Who).
This 67 minute CD
contains the entire Exciting, colorful and gigantic score for
the fantasy film with special effects by Ray Harryhausen. Lengthy,
spectacular re-recording features all of the music for Herrmann's
various outlandish orchestral requirements, such as the huge brass
