This 3000 unit limited collectors edtion CD is a deluxe presentation of this complex orchestral film score with extensive notes and many rare photos. The CD also features the film's title song performed by Frankie Avalon and an early demo version, both of which have never appeared on CD. Sawtell and Shefter's score for this motion picture would influence such composers as Danny Elfman, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith and Christopher Young.
