A town’s future is riding on one man!
Buysoundtrax presents the original motion picture score to MADISON,
the 2001 drama written and directed by William Bindley, starring
Jim Caviezel (PASSION OF THE CHRIST, THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO),
Jake Lloyd (STAR WARS: EPISODE I), Mary McCormack (PRIVATE PARTS,
THE WEST WING), Bruce Dern (COMING HOME, SILENT RUNNING) and Paul
Dooley (POPEYE), featuring stirring orchestral music by two veteran
film composers, Christopher Young and Kevin Kiner.
MADISON was filmed in 2001 but did not receive a theatrical release
until 2005. Set in 1971, MADISON is the story of a man’s
struggle to win the Indiana Gold Cup hydroplane regatta and bring
a little hope to the people of Madison. MADISON is the second
collaboration between director William Bindley and Christopher
Young. They worked together previously on JUDICIAL CONSENT. Christopher
Young is a veteran film composer and a favorite of film music
fans, with a career going back to the early 1980’s.
He has written powerful and compelling music for films such as
HELLRAISER, JENNIFER 8, SPECIES, MURDER IN THE FIRST, THE HURRICANE,
THE SHIPPING NEWS and, most recently, THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE.
He has received three BMI Film Music Awards and has been nominated
twice for Emmys.
Kevin Kiner is a veteran composer of music for both film and television,
with a career that goes back to the mid 80’s. He has worked
on projects such as SUPERBOY, WALKER, TEXAS RANGER, FREAKED, BLACK
SCORPION, THE ADVENTURES OF JONNY QUEST, THE VISITOR, STARGATE
SG-1, WING COMMANDER, THE INVISIBLE MAN, UC: UNDERCOVER, ENTERPRISE
and CSI: MIAMI, among others. He has received five BMI TV Music
Awards for his work..
