This soundtrack CD from PROMETHEUS RECORDS contains the very John Williams-Like score composed by Don Davis (The Matrix) for the little seen 1985 3-D Sci-iFi Comedy HYPERSPACE starring Chris Elliott (Cabin Boy) and Paula Poundstone (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) as well a 45 minute Symphonic Suite based on Don Davis's original scores composed for the 1987-90 TV series BEAUTY AND THE BEAST starring Linda Hamilton (THE TERMINATOR) and Ron Perlman (ALIEN RESURRECTION, CITY OF LOST CHILDREN), Roy Dotrice (SPACE: 1999) and Jay Acovone (OUT FOR JUSTICE, ID4). The BEAUTY AND THE BEAST suite runs over 45 minutes and contains never-before-released music from this TV Series and contains an alternate version of music for Catherine's Death that was not used in the final version of the episode.
