This
is the limited edition CD release of the world-preimere CD release
of the original soundtrack recording to the 1972 sequel to the
Vincent Price film 'The Abominable Dr. Phibes" entitled "Dr.
Phibes Rises Again" Directed by Robert Fuest (The Avengers
TV Series) and Starring Robert Quarry (Count Yorga, Vampire) Peter
Cushing (Star Wars), Terry-Thomas (Danger: Diabolik), Fiona Lewis
(The Fearless Vampire Killers) and Caroline Munro (Golden Voyage
of Sinbad). The original score to the film was composed and conducted
by John Gale and is a delightful witty effort that would foreshadow
the works of Danny Elfman and Christopher Young. This CD release
also includes A NEW recording of the classic song SOMEWHERE OVER
THE RAINBOW from THE WIZARD OF OZ.
