Super Tracks Music presents the original motion picture soundtrack to BLUE THUNDER, the classic 1983 action film directed by John Badham, written by Don Jakoby and Dan O’Bannon, starring Roy Scheider, Malcolm McDowell, Daniel Stern, Candy Clarke, Joe Santos and Warren Oates, featuring exciting music composed by Arthur B. Rubinstein. Fresh off of their success on WARGAMES, director John Badham re-teamed with composer Arthur B. Rubinstein for another successful outing on BLUE THUNDER. For both films, the composer utilized the synthesizers of the time in innovative new ways, writing the scores with an orchestra in mind but actually performing the music electronically. The final results were well received as both scores have been on the Want Lists of soundtrack fans for many years.
